The new 20 bed Medium Secure Unit accommodates two, 10 bed units each with open plan day areas with wide circulation spaces and 2 seclusion suites.

The building forms the first phase of the redevelopment of the rest of the Edenfield site for the Trust where Gilling Dod have already completed a two storey Men's unit and more recently the Women's TEMSS unit, both of which are adjacent to the site of the new building and a new Women's step down unit.
