A purpose built Centre for Women’s Health will bring the currently dispersed research accommodation for the University of Liverpool into one location within the Liverpool Women’s Hospital campus. The new facility will be provided by remodelling an existing ground floor hospital wing and an extension at ground floor, below the existing Hewitt Centre, to create new state of the art laboratory accommodation, a data analysis room and associated support facilities. The latest technology is required in order to enable the Centre to secure a position at the forefront of research and transform its existing space into world class facilities.

Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s premier hospitals in the provision of healthcare to women and babies. As a teaching hospital the Trust is a centre of excellence in the provision of both undergraduate and post-grad medical education and training and is associated in the task with the University of Liverpool, facility of medicine.
